Research shows that this shot may also have the potential to lower the risk of stroke, diabetes, heart disease and other conditions.

``Our findings suggest semaglutide through body weight loss, improvement of body composition has the potential to reduce heart disease, diabetes and stroke risk in people with obesity,`` stated John Wilding, D.M.F.C.P. from the University of Liverpool.

It is time to address obesity's roots!

According to industry-sponsored research presented by the Endocrine Society, the biweekly treatment with the glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonist semaglutide, results in reduced excess body fat and an increase in lean body mass for adults who are obese or overweight.

There are many substances in your body that can affect your appetite. GLP-1 is one of these substances. GLP-1 is naturally produced by the body when we eat. GLP-1 prevents you from feeling hungry and makes you feel satisfied or full.

Semaglutide mimics GLP-1 within the body. Semaglutide has the same effect on our bodies as GLP-1, which is a natural substance.

Semaglutide can reduce food intake. This is because it decreases hunger. Semaglutide can help you lose weight when combined with healthy eating habits and regular exercise.

Semaglutide’s effect on plaque formation in your blood vessels: Semaglutide was shown to stop the progression of plaque formation within blood vessels in animal studies. Semaglutide is also known to lower the risk of strokes and cardiovascular events.

Losing weight with Semaglutide may enable you to stop taking your antihypertensive medications, your lipid/cholesterol-lowering drugs, and medications for glucose control.
