Who is a good candidate for a penile shaft or girth enlargement procedure?
Any man dissatisfied with the appearance of his penis may be a candidate for penile shaft or girth enhancement, with a few exceptions. The safest and most effective material for penile enhancement is a hyaluronic acid injection called Juvéderm. Patients hypersensitive to dermal fillers or hyaluronic acid should avoid this procedure. Men with active inflammatory conditions of the penis, such as balanitis or the acute phase of Peyronie’s disease, are not candidates until treated. What does the penile enlargement procedure involve?
The penile enlargement procedure is performed with full awareness at our Sunny Isles location. No labs or pre-surgical tests are needed, as the procedure is done under a combination of local and topical anesthesia, resulting in minimal discomfort. The entire procedure takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. During the procedure, the doctor will insert microcannulas under the skin at the base of the penis and inject hyaluronic acid dermal filler (Juvéderm) evenly, resulting in an even distribution of padding around the shaft. The advantage of a microcannula over a needle is that its blunt end causes less injury to the small blood vessels under the skin, reducing bruising and swelling. Hyaluronic acid (Juvéderm) provides an excellent natural elastic sensation in both flaccid and erect states.
